We offer a large variety of specialist NHS clinics and services. Certain services however such as signing of private certificates and insurance claim forms are not covered by the NHS. Therefore charges in line with British Medical Association recommendations are made to the individual or company involved. A list of such recommendations is available at Reception, or can be downloaded from the Other Information page.
If you require a blood pressure check, height or weight this can be done yourself in the 'pod' at reception. If you would like to use this service please present at the front desk.

Our Nurses will provide information about overseas travel and vaccinations. We have access to comprehensive details about safety, disease risks and drug requirements. A course of injections is usually required 6-8 weeks prior to travel, therefore please make appointments in sufficient time to allow the range of vaccines to be given.
NHS Health Checks
Blood tests are carried out between 8.30 - 11.50am Monday to Friday and are by appointment only. Advice regarding preparation for your blood test (e.g. fasting) will be given at the time an appointment is made. An additional clinic is held on Tuesday morning for patients on anti-coagulants who need regular monitoring. Occasionally, blood samples need to be tested within a short time of being collected, in which case you may be asked to attend Bassetlaw Hospital for your blood test.
